The B3K Version 2

Although the original B3K Overdrive delivered incredibly useful tones in any situation, the engineers at Darkglass thought it was time to implement some of their tricks they learned over the years to give the pedal an upgrade it deserves. The original pedal’s attack switch has been replaced with a tone control knob, offering a wider frequency range and providing control over the attack and treble for added versatility. The grunt 3-way toggle has been converted into a switch with options between raw and fat, while a mid-boost switch is also added to allow players to add a slightly flatter and more transparent character than its original midrange character.

The Darkglass B3K Pedal is designed to provide the perfect combination between brutality and clarity, offering a sharp, scooped overdriven tone to enhance your sound. Its intuitive control layout allows players to dial-in a vast array of tonal options, and is virtually impossible to create a tone that isn’t useful and appealing. Its incredibly versatile controls is perfect for all musical styles, allowing players to dial in anything from a slight boost in the lows or mids, to full scale tonal saturation.

Control Options

• Blend: Mixes the clean input signal with the overdriven signal. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the overdriven signal is set by the Level knob, allowing for fine control of the blend ratio.
• Tone: Controls the high-frequency content of the sound. A variable low pass filter from 3kHZ (ccw) to 8kHz (cw)
• Level: Sets the volume of the overdriven signal.
• Drive: Sets the amount of saturation in the overdriven signal.
• Grunt: When engaged, provides a massive low-end boost to really thicken your sound.
• Mid Boost: Give a subtle 6 dB boost from 300 Hz to 1 kHz to help you cut through a little more.
